Acai Breakfast Bowl
An acai breakfast is super easy and quick to prepare not to mention highly nutritious, vegan, and gluten and dairy free. It’s also a great way to get your daily serving of fruit and vitamins packed with Vitamin A, B (niacin, B6, riboglavin), C, K, Fiber, Omega Fatty Acids (omega 6, omega 9), protein, copper, iron, zinc, magnesium, manganese, potassium, antioxidants (resveratrol, cyanidin-3-galactoside, ferulic acid, delphinidin, petunidin), polyphenol, and flavonoids. This is great to have especially around cold season to protect your immune system.
Materials: Blender, small bowl, spoon, knife
Ingredients: Sugar free acai puree, mixed frozen fruit, almond milk, blueberries, strawberries, flaxseed mix, chia seeds, cinnamon toppings of your choice (i.e., nuts, bee pollen, seeds, honey, cacao nibs), probiotic powder (optional)
- Thaw acai puree and mixed frozen fruit for 30 min
- Add the acai puree, mixed frozen fruit, and almond milk to the blender
- Add probiotic powder if desired. I usually add it to increase the nutritional value of my serving
- Blend until smooth
- Once smooth, pour into bowl and begin adding toppings
