Sautéed Broccoli Rabe and Garlic

Sautéed Broccoli Rabe and Garlic - Healthy Foodie - Vegan Recipes - ILYNSI Yoga

Looking for a way to incorporate more greens into your diet? Try this amazing broccoli rabe and garlic sauté recipe.  

Materials: Bowl, knife, cutting board, skillet

Ingredients:

  • 4 cloves of garlic
  • 1 cup of broccoli rabe
  • 1 tblspn olive oil
  • 1 splash of water
  • 1 tblspn salt
  • 1 tspn pepper

Preparation:

  • Soak broccoli rabe in salt water for 5 minutes to remove any bugs or dirt then drain and rewash
  • Chop 4 cloves of garlic

Instructions:

  • Add 1 tblspn olive oil skillet over medium heat
  • Add chopped garlic
  • Add broccoli rabe to skillet
  • Add salt and pepper
  • Add splash of water to help steam the broccoli and reduce calories by eliminating the need for more oil
  • Sauté for no more than 10 minutes
