5 Top Bag Essentials For The Athleista On The Go
You have a full time job, you have family and friends, and you have a workout schedule. Do you often find yourself carrying a lot of stuff with you but always missing the one important item you need to keep it all together? Below is a list of the essential items for the athleista on the go to always carry with her.
1. A bag full of your beauty essentials
Carrying a bag of beauty essentials is necessary for routine touch ups throughout the day. These essentials include makeup, moisturizer for both face and body, small perfume/body spray, a hair brush, mirror, a pair of tweezers, feminine products, and hair ties.
If you shower at your gym after a workout then carry your top bathing products in travel size bottles. If your favorite products do not come in travel size bottles, you can always purchase the empty bottles at your local drug store and fill them with your favorite products.
2. Change of clothes
If you are the type to workout in the morning before work then carrying a quick change of clothes is essential. The last thing you want to do is walk around in sweaty gym clothes. The reverse is true as well. If you are the type to workout after work or during your lunch break you will need to carry a change of clothes with you as well. In this case, I would pack a pair of yoga pants, a tank top with a built in sports bra.
3. Oral Hygiene Products
Never go anywhere without floss or mouthwash. Having bad breath is such a turnoff and can be a sign of bad oral hygiene. Brushing, flossing, and/or mouthwash throughout the day after every meal is not only a good way to keep those pearly whites healthy and clean but can also prevent you from overeating. I usually do not like to eat after brushing my teeth which definitely helps me curb those unnecessary calories.
4. Hand sanitizer
Hand sanitizer is a must to kill those germs. This is particularly essential during cold season. This is also a necessity if you live in the city and have to take public transportation. I usually try to avoid holding the bars and poles when taking the train but sometimes you can’t avoid it. One thing to keep in mind is that too much use of hand sanitizer can cause dryness of skin so be sure to moisturize afterwards.
5. Phone Charger
We all use our phones for practically everything these days therefore, I would recommend carrying a phone charger that plugs in or a battery charger block with you at all times.
